THANKSGIVING YAMS & CRANBERRIES

Time: 40 minutes
Servings: 8-10
Ingredients:
2 lg. cans yams, drained
1 bag fresh cranberries
Topping:
½ cup butter, melted
(1 stick)
1½ cups oats (regular, not quick)
1 cup brown sugar
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 bag mini
marshmallows
Directions:
- Mix
yams & cranberries together and put in greased 9x13x2 baking dish.
- Melt
butter in saucepan. Add oats, brown
sugar and nutmeg. Mix
together. Fold half of mixture into
yams & cranberries. Spread
other half over the top.
- Bake
at 350˚ for 35 min.
- Sprinkle
with mini marshmallows and broil a few minutes, until marshmallows begin
to melt and are just brown. (BE
CAREFUL! You must watch during this
time or it will burn and look awful.)
